An open office means a real place people can walk into: to ask about voting, pick up a yard sign, drop off a donation, or just see what the party is doing. Keeping it staffed is the difference between a headquarters and a locked door.

Shifts are two hours, and you're never alone: two volunteers cover each one. You'll greet whoever comes in, answer easy questions or take a name and number for follow-up, hand out materials, and keep the space tidy. A quick walk-through gets you comfortable your first time.
