Key dates for the 2026 general
Voter registration deadline
Last day to register or update your registration, 21 days before the election. Don't wait.
Early in-person voting
Vote early at the Randolph County Courthouse in Elkins, including two Saturdays. Skip the Election Day lines.
Absentee ballot application deadline
Applications for mailed absentee ballots must be received by the county clerk six days before the election.
Election Day
Polls open 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM. If you're in line by 7:30, you get to vote. Bring a valid ID.
